Subway
The Rome Metro is one of the smallest in Europe and does not cover many
areas of the central core of the city.
So, it’s very likely that you’ll be using a combination of the Metro, buses, trams,
and your own feet.
We recommend using an app like Google Maps to try out some trips
from our home to the places you want to see.
You may find that TRCH is within walking distance of many of your activities
and attractions, and you may only rarely use public transportation.
Attention: A ticket allows you to use public transport for 100
minutes after stamping it but you are only allowed to make one journey
on the metro or train.
Taxi
Taxis are available at the arrivals areas of the terminals. The fare to the center of Rome is around 50 euros.
It is strongly recommended to take only the white (licensed) taxis.
